iPower Electrical & Heating started in 2020 with a simple approach: quality electrical work, honest advice and a high standard of finish. Since then, we’ve grown while staying focused on what matters — reliable service, quality workmanship and doing the job right.
Today, iPower is a team of four servicing Greater Launceston and projects right across Tasmania. We work across all areas of domestic and commercial electrical, with a strong focus on high-end new builds and quality finishes. Our services have grown to include heat pumps, CCTV and security, home automation and Zip Screen blinds — allowing us to offer a complete solution from the electrical basics through to the finishing touches.
We’re proud members of Master Electricians Australia and fully insured for up to $20 million. Director & A-grade Licensed Electrician
Sam started his electrical apprenticeship in 2010, gaining experience across domestic and industrial electrical before qualifying in 2014. He later moved into commercial electrical, building a broad range of experience across the industry before starting iPower Electrical & Heating in 2020. Today, Sam leads the iPower team with the same hands-on approach the business was built on — quality workmanship, attention to detail and making sure every job is done properly from start to finish.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his family and three young kids. Living on a small acreage, weekends are usually spent around home with the family, tackling a project or two, and fitting in the occasional round of golf when time allows.
